Mark your calendar for Amarillo's Annual Veteran’s Day Parade.
Dear Parade Participant,
Thank you for entering the 17th annual Veterans’ Day Parade. Each year this has become larger and larger. We are trying to do everything electronically as you can tell.
Once we have compiled all the entries, you will be able to find the line up, your number, and the parade route. (The same used by the Tri State Fair)
FOR SAFETY REASONS, DO NOT THROU ANY CANDY DURING THE PARADE. CHILDREN WILL RUN OUT TO COLLECT THE CANDY AND RISK POSSIBLE HARM. WE ARE ONLY LOOKING AFTER THEIR BEST INTEREST. IF THIS HAPPENS, WE WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE THE PARADE.
IF YOU GET OUT OF NUMERICAL ORDER, YOU WILL NOT BE JUDGED.
Dead line for entering is October 31st. On November 1st, we will begin lining up all entries. Those entries coming after October 31st will be placed at the end of the parade. We wll post the line up on November 2nd.
Trophies will be awarded at 2:00 PM at the Thomas E. Creek Veterans’ Hospital.
Thank you to all of our sponsors for their continued support. They are listed on our Sponsor page.
Thank you again,
Arthur Ware - chairman
